Samsung Galaxy Note 5 could be one of the first devices to feature a 4K display with astonishing 700+ pixels-per-inch. The company plans to start mass-producing this 5.9-inch Ultra HD Super AMOLED display just in the timeframe for the Note 5 release.

This isn't much of a surprise because both LG and Samsung said that 600 and 700 ppi smartphone panels are within reach and should be available in late 2015 or early 2016. While 4K panels will result in a better image quality, we wish that some company would develop better batteries so that smartphones can have more than a day of battery life.
