Panel makers are seeing increased orders from Motorola Mobility as the company's handset sales performance in emerging markets has been above company estimations.

Motorola has seen demand increase in Brazil, India and Mexico among other emerging markets for its lower-priced, high-specification handsets featuring HD resolution panels.

Panel makers such as Innolux and LG Display have been the main suppliers for the technology and expect orders from Motorola to increase throughout the end of the year. Japan Display and Taiwan Display also have order visibility for relevant orders as well.

Vendors such as Motorola are now focused on emerging markets, using high-specification/lower-pricing units to attract consumers as the higher-priced high-end smartphone market has become saturated elsewhere.

Taiwan makers expect similar orders from vendors to maintain steady throughout 2015 in addition to orders for entry-level and high-end panel technologies.
