Sony's first Android Wear based Smartwatch is now on sale in the US. Available in Google Play Store, the wearable gadget will be shipped within 1-2 days of placing the order. Sony had announced the SmartWatch 3 back in September, during IFA 2014, with the Xperia Z3 series.

The SmartWatch 3 has a 1.6-inch 320 x 320 TFT transflective display for good outdoor visibility. There's 4 GB of internal storage, 512 MB RAM and a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC. The watch weighs just 38g, and comes with a 420 mAh battery.

Play Store lists the SmartWatch 3 for $249.
