There were some leak that Toshiba is preparing a bigger 2-in-1 Windows tablet and the device has passed through the FCC, but nothing was official. Today, the company officially announced a new hybrid model, the Portégé Z20 that features a 12.5-inch screen.

The Portégé Z20 features a Full HD IPS touchscreen and is powered by an Intel Core M processor, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. With 1.59 kg with keyboard or 799g as a standalone tablet, it is not the lightest Ultrabook, but it has a fanless design. It includes a micro HDMI port, micro USB, microSD card and comes with a support for Wacom technology for using a pen.

Toshiba has yet to reveal pricing and availability details, but we can expect to see the device in the first quarter of 2015.
