Samsung has decided to sue NVIDIA over false advertising as it allegedly faked some benchmark results while comparing the Exynos 5433 to the Tegra K1. This lawsuit comes just months after NVIDIA sued Samsung and Qualcomm for infringing its own patents.
The South Korean's lawsuit includes claims of infringement eight patents, of which NVIDIA violates six of them and Velocity Micro only two. In a response to allegations, NVIDIA denied all allegations and explained that they ran the benchmarks on stock Galaxy Note 4 device and Shield tablet. The company is still preparing an official statement so stay tuned for new information. |
