Announced back at CES 2014, the ASUS PadFone mini has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 15,999. The smartphone-tablet hybrid runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with ASUS ZenUI and is powered by Intel Atom Z2560 chipset with a 1.6 GHz dual-core processor.
ASUS has promised Android 4.4.KitKat update, but there is no sign of it. The rest of the specs include a 4-inch smartphone with IPS display, an 8-megapixle rear camera, a 2megapixel front snapper, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of built-in storage, dual-SIM and a 1,170 mAh battery.
The tablet dock features a 7-inch IPS+ display with 1,280 x 800 pixels resolution, a 2,100 mAh battery and weighs 260g.
