In 2014, HP announced Slate 6 VoiceTab tablet that was first available in India. A few months later, HP has launched a successor, the Slate 6 VoiceTab II. Just like its predecessor, the tablet is available in India from HP's online store for INR 15,990 (around $260).

Most of the specs remained the same, so HP Slate 6 VoiceTab II features the same 6-inch 720p IPS display, a Marvell PXA1088 chipset with a CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz. 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, 3G connectivity, a 2 MP front camera and a 3,000 mAh battery. There is also dual SIM card support. The only change is a better 8 MP rear camera and Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
