The Wall Street Journal reports that Google Glass isn't dead yet. Although the first model never transitioned into a consumer version with a more affordable (less than $1500) price tag, the WSJ has heard from sources familiar with the matter that 2015 is the year for Google Glass to go big.
Google has reportedly tapped Intel to provide chips for the next version of Glass. An interesting decision, considering ARM chips still offer better performance/watt than Intel's offerings. Unless, we are looking at 14nm Atom chips. |
