Samsung smartphone with Tizen operating system has been a long rumoured and even more times delayed. According to new rumours, Samsung is planning to launch a budget sub-$100 Tizen-based smartphone in India later this month that will be called Samsung Z1.

The phone is expected to be announced on December 10 and will use Tizen OS v2.3. Other specs include a 4-inch WVGA display, a 1.2 GHz dual-core Spreadtrum SC7727S processor with a Mali-400 GPU, 512 MB RAM, a 3.2-megapixel rear camera and a front VGA camera.

In terms of connectivity, it supports dual-SIM cards, 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, and FM Radio. Let's just hope Samsung doesn't delay it again.
