HTC is working on a new flagship smartphone that will replace HTC One M8 smartphone. Called as the HTC One M9 at the moment, rumours coming from China have revealed possible specifications of HTC's new flagship device along with a "Prime" version of the upcoming device.
The smartphone is expected to debut in the first quarter of next year. Probably the biggest change is a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and stereo speakers with Bose technology. The display is bigger, featuring a 5.5-inch QHD display. All of this is powered with a quad-core Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3 GB of RAM and a 3,500 mAh.
It will be a big surprise that the M8 successor doesn't come with 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset. The "Prime" version of the phone is also rumoured, but there are no details about it. Maybe the "Prime" version will come with a 64-bit SoC. |
