Acer has finally announced Liquid Jade S, the company's first smartphone with 64-bit processor. The smartphone is expected to go on sale around December 18 in Taiwan at a price of TWD 6,990 (around $220), but it is also expected to launch in India soon.

Liquid Jade S features a MediaTek MT6752 64-bit octa-core 1.5 GHz processor, a 5-inch IPS display with 720p resolution, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. For the imaging, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera with aperture of f/1.8 and a 5-megapixel front camera.

Other specs include all the standard connectivity support along with 4G LTE and it runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system.
