Huawei launched a new affordable Android tablet today. The Huawei Honor T1 is a slate with a 3G SIM card slot that will arrive in Europe later this month for €130. Boasting an aluminum unibody design, the Honor T1 features a quad-core Snapdragon 200 chipset, 1 GB RAM, an 8-inch HD display, 8 GB storage, 5 MP rear and VGA front cameras and a 4,800 mAh battery.

The biggest drawback of the Honor T1 is that it runs on a dated Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. We can only hope that Huawei will release a KitKat or Lollipop update in the near future, which would make the device a much more valuable proposition. The chances of that happening are slim.
