ZTE is preparing a successor to the Star 1, a high-end phone released in China with a price tag of $225. Thanks to Chinese certification agency, there are some new details on the upcoming flagship from ZTE, but this time the price tag is expected to slightly higher.
The ZTE Star 2 has much more powerful specs than its predecessor. It has a bigger, 5.5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 2.5 GHz, 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. Both cameras are upgraded with Sony's sensor, featuring an 8-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The phone runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat with ZTE's own user interface. It measures 154 x 77 x 9.8 mm that looks to be made of aluminum. The price tag is expected to be around CNY1,999 ($320). |
