Microsoft is reportedly holding off on any new Lumia flagship smartphones until at least late 2015. An anonymous source has revealed to geekongadgets that the company will not release a new Windows Phone flagship of its own until around one year from now. Rather than release a new flagship, Microsoft may focus on low and mid-range Windows Phone devices for the time being.

The anonymous source has thrown out September 2015 as a possible launch date for the next Lumia flagship. With that being many months away and there being no other reports to back up the date, September 2015 should not be taken too seriously.

Microsoft began coming out with its own Lumia Windows Phone devices one month ago when the Lumia 535 was released without a connection to Nokia.
