Everything was familiar about the BlackBerry Classic and customers could actually pre-order the device for $449. Today, as promised, BlackBerry has officially announced it. The phone will be available starting today "through local carriers around the world."
AT&T and Verizon will be only carriers to sell the device in 2015, but pricing has yet to be announced. With this smartphone, BlackBerry is actually returning to its fundamentals. It features a QWERTY physical keyboard accompanied by physical navigation keys.
Regarding the specs, there is a 3.5-inch display made of Corning Gorilla Glass with 720 x 720 pixels resolution, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM 16 GB of storage space that is expandable via a microSD card slot, an 8 megapixel rear and a 2 megapixel front camera. |
