Microsoft has launched an affordable 4G LTE capable Smartphone in India. The Lumia 638 is almost entirely identical to the Lumia 630, except that the former supports 4G LTE networks while the latter is limited to 3G networks. Accordingly, the Lumia 638 costs a little more in comparison to the Lumia 630's current selling price.

In terms of specs, the Lumia 638 offers a 4.5" FWVGA (854 x 480) IPS display, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB expandable storage, 5 MP rear camera, dual SIM slots, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, an 1,830 mAh battery and Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Cyan.

The Lumia 638 is up for pre-order in India. It is priced at Rs. 8,299 ($140).
