Asustek Computer, Acer, Micro-Star International (MSI), Gigabyte Technology and Lenovo have stopped selling their notebooks in Russia as they have been suffering losses due to a free fall of the country's currency, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.

Since these notebook brand vendors' most popular products in Russia are high-end and gaming models, stop selling products in the country could greatly impact their sales in the short term, the report noted.
