Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note Edge in India. Announced back at IFA 2014 alongside the Galaxy Note 4, the Galaxy Note Edge has largely the same set of specifications, save for a few innovative touches. One of them is the curved display on the right edge. Also, the Galaxy Note Edge has a higher pixel density display - 5.6" Quad HD (2560 x 1440) - of Super AMOLED make.

Just like the Note 4, the Note Edge is powered by a 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 chipset, has a 16 MP rear camera, 3 GB RAM and 4G LTE support. Its battery is slightly smaller, at 3,000 mAh.

The Galaxy Note Edge will go on sale in India in the first week of January, 2015 for Rs. 68,500 ($1140).
