China-based vendor TCL sold 1.345 million LCD TVs globally in November, decreasing on year by 24.8%, but 361,000 smart LCD TVs of which increased by 16.2%, according to the company.
TCL sold 14.574 million LCD TVs during January-November, slipping on year by 3.3%, the company said. Of the sales, 7.176 million LCD TVs were sold in the China market and 7.398 million units in overseas markets, dropping on year by 17.1% and growing by 15.4% respectively, the company indicated.
In a bid to enhance value of LCD TVs, TCL has launched many Ultra HD models as well as quantum dot models through technological cooperation with US-based QD Vision, the company said. |
