Thanks to its bigger screens, tablets have started getting the split-screen feature. The latest one to get that feature is Acer Iconia Tab 8, although it doesn't run Android operating system. Acer has released the software update and confirmed the split-screen mode.

However, tablets are still missing support for this feature from the apps, but basic apps have it, including Maps, Chrome, YouTube, Gmail, Hangouts, Calendar, Calculator, OfficeSuite and more.
