Two days ago, we have reported that Nokia could launch its first N1 Android tablet on January 7th. Today, the company confirmed on its social media sites the launch date of the N1 Android tablet. The tablet will be available in China starting on January 7th.

It is expected to be priced at the equivalent of $249 USD and will feature a 7.9-inch Gorilla Glass 3 screen with resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels, a 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of native storage. Other specs include an 8 MP camera on the back and a 5 MP front camera, a 5,300 mAh battery and pre-installed Android 5.0 Lollipop.
