Samsung has announced the world's first Smartphone powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset. The Galaxy Note 4 LTE-A will be arriving in South Korea in January 2015, and we can only hope for a worldwide launch in the following months. Little else has changed in the Galaxy Note 4 LTE-A compared to the original device, except for swapping the 32-bit Snapdragon 805 chipset with a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset.

The Snapdragon 810 chipset is made up of 4 x Cortex A57 and 4 x Cortex A53 cores in big.LITTLE mode, which is identical to the configuration used in Samsung's Exynos 5433 SoC. Snapdragon 810 supports 3x20MHz carrier aggregation, which enables blazing fast 450 Mbps Cat. 9 LTE speeds. Compared to the S805, the S810 has a faster Adreno 430 GPU.

While Samsung may never launch the Galaxy Note 4 LTE-A outside of South Korea, people can obtain the device by importing it. After all, many had done so with the Galaxy S5 LTE-A, which is also exclusive to South Korea and was launched earlier this year.
