Yesterday was Tuesday, meaning Xiaomi held another of their weekly flash sales in India. This time, the Chinese manufacturer debuted the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, one of the most affordable 4G Smartphones to be sold in India. Truly, this 4G handset costs just Rs. 9,999 ($160)

For that price, you get a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720) display, a 1.6 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, 2 GB RAM, 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras, 8 GB of expandable storage, a 3,100 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI v5.

Some interesting facts about the flash sale - Of the 200,000 people who registered for the sale, only 40,000 were able to purchase a Redmi Note 4G for themselves. But then again, that's Xiaomi's way to keep the hype train running and tackling their low supply to the high demand.
