CES 2015 event starts on January 6th in Las Vegas, where many will announce their new devices. Samsung will have its own booth where it will showcase its new Smart TV lineup, among other devices. Samsung has confirmed that every 2015 smart TVs will be based on Tizen OS.

Tizen OS is a Linux-based open source operating system developed by Samsung and Intel. While we are still waiting for first Tizen-based smartphone that was rumoured in the past, Samsung is already using it in cameras and TVs. The reason behind using the same operating system in all devices is to make it easier to connect between each other.
