Lenovo announced a limited edition Vibe X2 Pro at CES 2015. Sharing the same layered design as the original Vibe X2, the Vibe X2 Pro boasts a body made of metal. Also, the Vibe X2 Pro is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset, and features a slightly larger 5.3-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display.
At the back of the Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro lies a 13 MP camera, which is complemented by another 13 MP front-facing selfie camera. You get 32 GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot. The device has a 2,410 mAh battery, measures only 6.95mm thick, weighs 140g and runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
One can take even better selfies by using Lenovo's Selfie Flash Extension, which is a ring-shaped device that fits into the device's audio jack. The flash extension unit has 8 diffused LEDs and can shoot up to 100 images before it runs out of charge.
The Vibe X2 Pro will be available in Champagne Gold, Rock Pink and Electric Blue colors from April this year. Pricing details will be announced at a later date. |
