The Economic Times of India reports that Apple sold about 500,000 iPhones in India during Q4 2014. This is a definite step up with respect to sales figures from last year. In Q4 2013, Apple managed to sell 250,000 units of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c in India. Certainly, the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models are more popular than previous iPhones.

The new iPhone 6 models had sold 10 million units within three days of its launch in the US.
