Notebook ODM Quanta Computer has reported consolidated revenues of NT$88.843 billion (US$2.80 billion), hitting the highest monthly level in 2014. The figure represents a 9.91% sequential increase but a 6.08% on-year decrease.

Consolidated revenues of NT$251.657 billion for the fourth quarter rose 3% sequentially but dropped 7.32% on year, while 2014 consolidated sales grew 5.22% on year to NT$926.328 billion, Quanta said.

According to Chinese-language newspaper Economic Daily News, Quanta shipped 4.2 million notebooks in December, dipping 10.6% on month. Its fourth-quarter notebook shipments reached 12.8 million units, falling 6.6% sequentially, the 2014 notebook shipment volume totaled 48.5 million, up 12.5% on year.
