Consolidated revenues at Adata Technology increased 7.9% sequentially in December 2014 while fellow memory module company Transcend Information saw its December sales decrease 2.4% on month.
Adata has announced December consolidated revenues of NT$2.37 billion (US$74.6 million). Consolidated sales for all of 2014 amounted to about NT$29.1 billion, of which 54.7% came from sales of the company's DRAM modules.
Adata also manufactures SSDs and external hard drives, which combined for more than 20% of the company revenues in 2014.
Transcend has reported consolidated sales of NT$2.21 billion for December 2014, down 2.4% on month but up 4.3% on year. Sales for 2014 totaled around NT$27.22 billion, rising 4.2% on year.
Transcend generated consolidated revenues of NT$6.98 billion in the fourth quarter of 2014, up 2.8% on quarter, buoyed by strong sales of the company's industrial control and strategic products. Sales of Transcend's industrial control and strategic products accounted for 46.7% of company revenues in the fourth quarter. |
