An entry-level and mid-range smartphone market looks to be the main focus for Microsoft as the company continues releasing smartphones for those segments. The latest one is an entry-level Lumia 532, a bumped-up iteration of the familiar Lumia 530 smartphone.
The device will be available in both single and dual SIM versions in Europe, Asia, Pacific, India, Middle East and Africa, starting next month. It should be priced at around €79.
Lumia 532 features a 4-inch display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. Microsoft also included 30 GB cloud storage on its OneDrive service. There is a 5 MP rear and a VGA front-facing camera. It comes with a 1,560 mAh battery and runs the latest Windows Phone 8.1 operating system with Lumia Denim update.
