Xiaomi has big hopes resting on the Mi Note. After selling over 60 million Smartphones in 2014 (while targeting 40 million), the Chinese manufacturer hopes to attain even greater heights in the year 2015, perhaps even ship 100 million Smartphones throughout the year. Consulting firm KGI Investment Advisory predicts that Xiaomi could ship between 13 to 15 million units of the Mi Note this year.

The Mi Note sure looks like a great handset. But would people pay $399 (or $599 for the Mi Note Pro) for a Xiaomi handset, after getting so used to dirt-cheap Smartphones from the same company? Only time will tell.
