According to an image posted on Chinese social networking site Weibo, which is believed to be the roadmap for MediaTek chips in 2015, the semiconductor company will introduce an octa-core SoC, based on 64-bit architecture, and manufactured in the 20nm process in late 2015.

The unknown MediaTek MT67xx chip could include support for LTE Cat. 6, which may debut sometime in Q4 2015. Note that this mystery MT67xx chip won't replace the current flagship chip from MediaTek, which is the octa-core MT6795 SoC.

In late Q2 2015, MediaTek may introduce the MT6753, which would serve as a mid-range chip with LTE connectivity. The MT6753, according to the leaked roadmap, is an octa-core chip based on ARM Cortex A53 cores, and built using the 28nm process.

Lastly, in early Q2 2015, MediaTek may introduce two entry-level chips with support for 4G LTE networks. The MT6735 and MT6735M would both be quad-core Cortex A53 parts, with clock frequencies of 1.5 GHz and 1.0 GHz respectively. These chips too will be manufactured using the 28nm process.
