Oppo has officially announced the U3, a 5.9-inch phablet, which has a 13 MP rear camera with 4x optical zoom lens. The Oppo U3 packs a 1080p panel, is driven by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor, and has 2 GB of RAM. The rear camera is capable of 4K video capture. Also, the U3 has a 5 MP front-cam, which is accompanied by an LED flash.
The 13 MP front camera on the Oppo U3 is the IMX214 sensor from Sony. The device has a 3,000 mAh battery, has dual SIM slots, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS.
The LTE-capable Oppo U3 launches in China on January 14th. Pricing details are yet to be announced.
