Eon mainly offers NOR flash chips ranging in densities from 2Mb to 128Mb. The fabless chip designer was quoted in previous reports as saying shipments of its NOR flash products would top 470 million chips in 2010, up from the 346 million units shipped in 2009.
Eon revealed that Korea-based Dongbu HiTek is its major foundry partner, and it is also working with China-based Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC).
In addition to NOR flash, Eon also supplies NOR flash-based multi-chip package (MCP) memory solutions for China's white-box handsets.
