If you are not a fan of Windows Phone 8.1 OS and overall of Microsoft's mobile platform, than you can choose between Android or iOS. Since there are no budget-friendly iOS phones, you'll have to go with Android platform and Acer has something new to offer you.

We'll start with Liquid Jade Z, a higher mid-range smartphone that is built around a 5-inch 720p display that uses a Gorilla Glass 3 layer for protection. It sports a 64-bit MediaTek processor, a 5 MP front and a 13 MP main camera. It has a 7.9 mm thin body that weighs just 110 grams

Moving on to the Liquid Z series. The Liquid Z220 has a 4-inch display, while the Liquid Z520 has a 5-inch display. Both displays have the same WVGA resolution. The Liquid Z520 is a slightly more powerful with a quad-core Snapdragon 400 and 1 GB of RAM, while the Liquid Z220 has a Snapdragon 200 chipset with dual-core CPU.

They also differ in the imaging department, as the Liquid Z520 has an 8 MP main camera with LED flash and the Z220 has a 5 MP main shooter.

As other Acer's products, the smartphones will be available in March and April. The Liquid Jade Z will retail for €199, the Liquid Z520 for €109, while the Liquid Z220 will be €89
