A day ahead of the official announcement at Mobile World Congress 2015, Microsoft ha accidentally posted an article with a few details about Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL. The article was pulled back very fast, but we knew what the company has in its sleeves.

As MWC 2015 has officially started today, Microsoft decided to unveil both smartphones. The Lumia 640 features a 5-inch IPS 720p display that has Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.2 GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM. It has only 8 GB of storage, but there is a microSD card slot for up to 128 GB cards.

An 8-megapixel rear and a 1-megapixel front cameras are in charge of taking images. The main camera can shoot 1080p videos and has an LED flash. Both single and dual-SIM versions will be available.

The single SIM Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL will cost €140 and €190, while the dual SIM will be €160 and €220 respectively.
