The budget-friendly Redmi 2 smartphone from Xiaomi has shown up at MWC 2015. Xiaomi's Redmi 2 appeared for a short time on the floor at MWC, but it is not yet available for sale outside of the Chinese market. Xiaomi's Redmi line has the Redmi, Redmi 1S, and the Redmi 2.

Xiaomi's budget-friendly device comes with a 2200 mAh battery, dual-SIM 4G support, and a 64-bit processor from Qualcomm.

Xiaomi has not mentioned any other release information for the phone.
