A few days ahead of Mobile World Congress 2015, live photos of BlackBerry Leap smartphone have emerged online. The leaked smartphone, also known as the BlackBerry Rio, has now become official as the company has decided to announce it at MWC 2015 in Barcelona.
BlackBerry Leap is built around a 5-inch HD display that is powered the old Snapdragon S4 Plus chipset with a dual-core Krait processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. It has 16 GB of internal memory that is expandable with a microSD card.
Other specs include an 8 MP auto-focus rear-facing camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing shooter, a 2,800 mAh battery and BlackBerry OS 10.3.1. The phone will be available in April for a $275, without a contract. |
