As we are waiting for the upcoming Nexus smartphone, new details have started leaking out. Apparently Google contacted Huawei and plans to use their in-house chipset, meaning the next-gen flagship Nexus smartphone could use Huawei's Kirin 930 processor.

The Kirin 930 is Huawei's flagship product, built on a 16 nm process. It features eight 64-bit cores - a set of four Cortex-A57 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores, with maximum clock frequency of 2.0 GHz. The processor is also capable enough to support up to 32 MP camera sensors. As there is no official confirmation from either company, take this with a grain of salt and stay tuned for new details.
