The Zenfone 2 from Asus is very competitive in Taiwan. The ZE551ML model includes 4 GB of RAM and only costs $290. Asus also has two other models which cost even less but only have 2 GB of RAM. Major Taiwanese carriers and Asus itself are selling the new phone.
Asus' most expensive ZE551ML has a 5.5-inch full HD display, quad-core 2.3 GHz Intel Atom Z3580 CPU, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of memory, microSD, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
Then there is the ZE550ML which has a 1.8 GHz Atom Z3560 CPU, 5.5-inch HD display, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of memory. Lastly, the ZE500CL has a 5.5-inch HD display, 1.2 GHz Atom Z2560 CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of memory, and a 2,500 mAh battery.
All Zenfone 2 models run Android 5.0 Lollipop. They are available from Chunghwa Telecom, FarEasTone, Taiwan Mobile, and Vibo Telecom. |
