Sony Mobile Communications has launched the stainless steel version of its SmartWatch 3 in the Taiwan market priced at NT$9,990 (US$315).

The smartwatch, which sports a 1.6-inch 320 by 320 TFT LCD display, supports Android Wear and is IP68 anti-water anti-dust rated.

With a full range of practical features and easy-to-use interface, the SmartWatch 3 is set to enjoy strong sales in the local market, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report, citing Jonathan Lin, general manager of Sony Mobile Taiwan.
