HTC has delayed the delivery of its new flagship model, the HTC One M9, at its exclusive retail shops and online shop in the Taiwan market, citing the delay was caused by an upgrade of the software for an improvement of user experience, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
HTC originally planned to start delivering the new model from March 16 but will probably delay the shipment of the One M9 32GB to March 20 and the 64GB version to the end of March, said the paper.
Sales of the One M9 at business outlets of local telecom operators are previously set to start on March 23, said the paper, but failed to point out if the vendor will stick on the original plan.
The One M9 32GB and 64GB will be available at NT$21,900 (US$691) and NT$23,900 unlocked, respectively, in the local market.
