Acer Chromebook has been rumoured now for a decent amount of time, but according to new details the notebook isn't that far away. The company is expected to announce a new Chromebook with an Intel Core i5 Broadwell processor that will cost around $500.

The notebook was introduced in January, but it was promised to arrive with either a Celeron or Core i3 processor. Probably Acer changed its mind after seeing Google's Chromebook Pixel. With Core i5 Broadwell processor, it should be equally fast as the Pixel, it is now up to you if you are willing to pay double the price for the rest of features on Pixel.
