Orders for the upcoming Apple Watch have reportedly been cut by Apple. Economic Daily News reports Apple's orders are now half of what they previously were. The decrease in orders comes as a result of issues with the watch's AMOLED display. LG ran into trouble with the displays and only a small portion of those produced meet Apple's standards.

To deal with this issue Apple allegedly had to launch the watch in March but release it in April. Earlier reports suggested similar things since it does appear Apple is bringing in Foxconn to serve as a secondary assembly partner. Foxconn will help Apple increase its yields.

The Apple Watch will be available later next month and preorders begin April 10.
