Lenovo plans to launch its smartphones in the Japan market starting 2015, according to a Japan-based Nikkei News report, citing sources at Lenovo Japan.

However, the vendor has not yet decided through which channels or which brands it will market, said the report.

The vendor operates Lenovo and Motorola brands and also maintains strong cooperation relationships with NEC.
