Intel has created a new camera for phones that is tinier and offers longer-range depth detection. The RealSense camera was introduced by Intel CEO Brian Krzanick at IDF. Until the introduction of this camera, RealSense was missing from smartphones despite being on desktops, laptops, tablets, and other devices.

The camera has a lower thermal output than other cameras. It can fit into a 6-inch smartphone. Intel has not said when this new camera with RealSense technology will be available. A full spec list has also not been released.
