Redstone is the codename for a big update for Windows 10 that will come out in 2016. Neowin reports two updates will be released in June and October of next year. Both updates have the name "Redstone" and the updates will reportedly add support for "new classes of devices that aren't already part of Windows 10."

Microsoft is expected to release other regular updates during 2016 but these updates will introduce some big changes to Windows 10.

Redstone is a reference to Minecraft.
