Alongside announcing a new flagship HTC One M9 Plus smartphone, the company has also announced a brand new One E9 and One E9+. The new smartphones will be available only for Asian markets, but there are no details on pricing or availability as we speak.

Both smartphones are very similar. They aim at a high-end segment with a 5.5-inch display, flagship MediaTek MT6795M chipset, 3 GB of RAM (One E9+) or 2 GB of RAM (One E9), 16 GB of expandable storage and a 2,800 mAh battery. Except for the amount of RAM, another difference is that the One E9+ has a 20 MP main camera and a Quad HD display, while the One E9 sports a 16 MP and 1080p display.

Both have the same 4 MP UltraPixel front-facing camera and Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this device with HTC's Sense 7 UI on top.
