After it was certified by TENAA yesterday, Oppo has quietly announced a new mid-range smartphone that will be available for purchase in China, but we expect it to see in other regions too. Dubbed the Oppo A31, the smartphone comes with a price tag of only $159.

Unlike other smartphones, the 4.5-inch A31 sports a dual-glass design with a metallic frame and measuring only 8 mm. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with a quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of built-in storage that can be expanded via micro SD slot and a 2,000 mAh battery. The rear camera has an 8 MP resolution, while the front is a 5 MP. Other specs include 4G LTE network SIMs and ColorOS based on Android 4.4 KitKat.
