Xiaomi has entered the Guinness World Record books by selling a record number of phones on a single day. During the Xiaomi Mi Fan Fest held in China yesterday, Xiaomi sold 2.11 million phones in a 24 hour period, setting a new world record. They generated $335 million worth of revenue from the sale of phones, Mi Band, Mi TVs, and several other gadgets.

Previously, Xiaomi had announced its intentions to sell over 100 million Smartphones in 2015. The company is already well on its way to achieve that goal.
