Quanta Computer shipped 4.0 million notebooks in March, rising 48.1% on month and 11.1% on year, and it shipped 9.9 million units in January-March, declining 22.7% sequentially and 5.7% on year, according to the company.

Quanta expects notebook shipments in April and May to remain roughly unchanged on month. It is the exclusive OEM producer of MacBook series notebooks and Apple Watch.

Quanta posted consolidated revenues of NT$80.051 billion (US$2.55 billion) for March, increasing 45.51% on month and 7.49% on year, and those of NT$205.193 billion for January-March slipped 4.93% on year.
